Giant burgers, tacos, slices of pizza, dumplings and more glide around a city like cars in a new commercial from Deliveroo, the British food delivery service brand that operates in 12 countries worldwide –and it’s enough to make you hungry.
Set to the Everly Brothers’ “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” the spot was filmed in Buenos Aires, in what we’re told was a unique production that involved shooting plates of the streets, then filming the food moving around on tracks and scaling it up. The Dempseys via Knucklehead were the directors.
Deliveroo launched its first TV ad a year ago with an camapign via Fallon, but this spot was created in-house and launches a new brand positioning around the new line “Eat More Amazing.”
Deliveroo, which competes with the likes of Uber Eats, was founded in 2013 by American former investment banker Will Shu, and now operates in 12 countries, including the U.K., Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
