With Ikea stores closed at the moment, people are apparently missing not just the furniture options but their favorite Swedish food fix—the retailer’s famous meatballs.

With that in mind, the company has published a recipe on Twitter for how to create the meatballs at home. But this is no ordinary recipe—the black and white line-drawn six-step diagram also mimics its flatpack furniture instructions. (You’ll need, among other ingredients, minced beef and pork, double cream, Dijon mustard and soy sauce to recreate that iconic creamy flavor).
“We know that some people might be missing our meatballs, which is why we’ve released an at-home alternative which, using easily accessible ingredients, will help those looking for some inspiration in the kitchen,” said Lorena Lourido, Ikea’s U.K. and Ireland country food manager, in a press release. “Staying at home can be hard, but we want to help make everyone’s lives that little bit easier and more enjoyable. Bon appétit or, smaklig måltid, as we say in Sweden!”
Previously during the pandemic, the retailer also published another helpful set of instructions about how to safely shelter at home in a campaign from McCann Tel Aviv.
Ikea is not the only brand to give out recipes as a means of reminding consumers that it exists: Burger King France also did so with instructions for a “Quarantine Whopper” and Disney Parks released its churros recipe.
