It’s no secret that comedian Kevin Hart is a huge fan of pro basketball—in fact, he claims to be “literally the biggest NBA fan you will ever meet.” So in preparation for the 2018 NBA Playoffs, Hart is teaming up with Mountain Dew, not only as the new face of Mtn Dew Kickstart, but also to find his “CourtSidekick” for this year’s festivities.
Between now and March 19, fans can try their luck at becoming Hart’s next courtside wing by posting on social media and showing why they deserve to sit shotgun with the four-time NBA All-Star Celebrity Game MVP and help him take his “NBA game-watching to the next level.”
Starting March 20, Hart and Mountain Dew judges will begin to narrow the field to five finalists. From there, fans will vote to choose who gets the seat—and they’ll get to bring a friend, too. The winners of the ‘Closer Than Courtside’ contest will be announced on April 5.
